Nature and the Universe

A human being is part of the whole,
called by us "Universe,"
a part limited in time and space.
He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings
as something separated from the rest
- a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.
This delusion is a kind of prison for us,
restricting us to our personal desires and
to affection for a few persons nearest to us.
Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison
by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures
and the whole of nature in its beauty.
 Albert Einstein
Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth
are never alone or weary of life. Rachel Carson
If one way be better than another,
that you may be sure is Nature's way. Aristotle
Look deep into nature,
and then you will understand everything better. Albert Einstein
If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy,
if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you,
if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand,
rejoice, for your soul is alive. Eleonora Duse
Nature is the art of God. Thomas Browne
